Salman Khan is one of Indian cinema’s biggest superstars and is considered to be one of its most bankable performers. The actor made his debut in the film ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’ (1988), playing a supporting role in the film. His first commercial success came with ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ (1989), for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. His other box-office successes include, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Tere Naam’, ‘Partner’, ‘Wanted’ and ‘Dabangg’ which is second highest-grossing Bollywood movie of all-time. Dabangg also won various awards in many categories. His latest box office release is ‘Ready’. The actor also runs a charitable trust the Being Human Foundation.
